Pyewacket and Frisbee's Sunny Spot on the Web

Hi! I'm Pyewacket and this is my sister, Frisbee.

Hello! I'm the one in the purple. Pye is wearing pink today.

Welcome to our page.  We've heard a lot about the Web and thought 'Other cats are doing it, why not us?'

Well, we don't have a computer, Pye.

Yeah, but Steven does. We'll use his.

You can type, Pye?

No, but Steven can. We'll get him to do it.

Okay. That'll be easy.

The next question was what to put on it.  Frisbee and I discussed this.

We ate first though.

Then we discussed it!

After we  took a nap.

Right. Then we discussed it calmly and rationally like adult cats.

Pye, we're still kittens.

Okay, like adult kittens, then.   We both agreed  pictures are a must.

Yeah, but they have to be tasteful pictures.  Steven takes such embarassing pictures of us.

We really need to get that camera away from him, Friz.

But some of the pictures do turn out nice at least.
And if these aren't enough, here are some more.

Name  Frisbee
Position Head of Household
Status Single and uninterested
Weight *Ahem*
Age 10 months
Favorite food Tuna & Egg bits, towels
Favorite toy Ball in a circle (see below)
Favorite game with Pye Tackle
Favorite sleeping spot Window sill
Favorite scritching time 5 am
Arch-nemesis That feather on a stick
Pet Peeve Steven *could* take his baths without water, so we could join him.
Goal in Life To write the definitive work on sleep.
Personality Friendly, affectionate, demanding.  Does not let curisoity interfere with food and sleep.

We also decided to include some personal information. First, Frisbee.

What does 'Single and uniterested' mean? Uninterested in what?

It's under status. Maybe it means you're not interested in power and status.

That could be, since I have it all already.  Do we really need to indicate weight?

Well, probably not, but other cats out there might want to know.

And I have a lot of other favorite foods, too. Why didn't he list them?

Probably because 6000 lines would unbalance the page, Friz.

Hmmm. my other goal is to convince Steven that there's a purrfectly good floor. He doesn't need to sit in my chair.

Well, humans will be humans, Friz.

And now we have some notes on Pyewacket... wait a minute, St. Pyewacket???

Well, it's mostly honorary.  But I do have my own day.  Probably in honor of my silky fur.

When's that?

December 8th.  I don't know why, but that's it.  St. Pyewacket's Day.

Can't you find a different favorite game?  Sheesh.

Well, I'd chase the critter under the bed, but I don't know that it has a tail yet.

Why do you want to go Outside?

Because no cat that  we know has ever been Outside!

Pye, I'm the only cat you know!

But you haven't been Outside, have you?

Well, no...

We also decided to include our interests.   We have many of these.

Yep!  I like to eat.

I like sleeping.

We both enjoy watching birds.

I rather enjoy the nice game of chess.

I'm still waiting your response to my last move... Pawn to King's Pawn Floor.

I'm working on it! Friz and I also like the occasional game of hide and seek.

In this picture, Pye got lucky.  The hiding place was purrfect.

But not as good as this one that I found.   Eventually, I ran out of food here, and so was found.

Chasing the ball is always fun.  Sometimes Pye and I will play ball pong.
Then there are interesting places to hang out.

This is one of our favorites.  Waiter, can I get some water, please?

We also help Steven with his laundry sometimes.

We don't know why humans bother with clothing.

But it does give us some nice hills to play on, Frisbee!

Pye and I have different ideas on what constitutes a good sleeping spot.  But sometimes, we both agree on one.

Steven has kindly provided us with some nice window sills.

We're trying to teach him the command 'open the window', but it's slow going.

I've also been trying to help Steven with his Dr. Pepper problem.

I don't think he realizes that he has a problem.

At least, we'll keep him from getting these boxes.

And here's Pye in her 'attack' position.

Un, yeah. No fair taking pictures of me asleep!

That'll teach you to chase my tail!

It was attacking you. I thought I'd help out.

Chase your own tail! That's what it's there for!

We also decided that we should include links to some of our favorite web spots. And some of our online friends.

We'd have more, but Steven hogs the computer a lot.

And more important, he hogs the computer chair.

One day, we'll visit our friends.  Just as soon as Steven lets us out.

We really have to teach him the word 'open'

It'll be tough. He barely knows 'stay'

Cat English
Meow Pet me
Meow Feed me.

Meeeeeow Feed me something else
*purr* Yes, yes, oh god yes!!
Meow Wake up. I need to be petted.
*hiss* I believe that's my catnip mouse you have.

We also thought it would be nice to provide a dictionary for those who don't speak Cat.

We'd like to thank Steven for doing the translation for this page.

It was tough, because Steven doesn't understand Cat that well.

But he's slowly learning.

Anyway, I hope this has been entertaining for you.  It was fun for us writing this. Or at least directing Steven as he writes this.

Oh, here's a link to Steven's page.
